Amsterdam based Dick Moby specialises in making eco-friendly glasses from recycled plastic from the oceans. The story begins with two dedicated surfers, Tim and Robbert, who were on a trip in 2012 where they were confronted with huge amount of plastic in the ocean and wanted to do something about that.
After coming up with the idea to making sunglasses they started to look for a manufacturer and ended up with and itallian manufacturer - hereafter they started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo and got backed.

The sunglasses er made from 97% recycled acetate (recycled plastic) and 3% bio-based ink or ink for coloring the sunglasses.
